It started with a whisper of inspiration, then grew into a full-fledged epic project and a lifelong passion. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I have had making them.
The Painting Process
Sometimes it takes two hours, sometimes it takes eight to complete the pour.
I can never tell when I begin, I can only go where the painting leads me. It’s an exhilarating process!
The one thing is, you can’t leave early or the paint will dry. You’re in it till the end!

After both paint and canvas prep, I begin the initial pour.

The cells are beginning to form from the painting medium I mixed and poured with the paint. Different colors have different mixes poured with them to create the varied effects.

One hour later. Phew! Time for a short break for water.

Two hours later, with a hand-mixed spray and my handheld tools, it has morphed into this.
